Just sick of it...Sick of the fake smile that I show every time...I wanna say what I feel but I can't. I'm nothing more then a puppet there...
I was chatting with dajie via msn today and I remember this particular sentence that came out of our conversation - the world is corrupted. That's true...you can't deny it. That's what lead to this full blown recession. The American dream is gone, who wants to go to America right now? My workplace is also like that, looks good outside, messy inside...
Sigh...just sick of it..feel like puking (and it's not pregnancy I'm talking about).
Anyway sorry for the depressing post, maybe cos' I'm watching CNN on the G20 summit & I'm thinking that the G20 reminds me of my workplace - all talk but no action. They only talk but whether there will be improvements, it's another issue *_*
One of the best songs I have ever heard so far....
Take a little look at the life of Miss Always Invisible Look a little closer, I really really want you to put yourself in her shoes Take another look at the face of Miss Always Invisible Look a little harder and maybe then you will see why she waits for the day When you'll ask her her name
The weather seems gloomy lately. Just like how I feel at work. Gloomy, with a capital G. Super duper no motivation what so ever. Feeling so drained. My meeting that should have started at 9.30am has been postponed till 3.30pm or later. So I'm just waiting and waiting. Damn it.
I feel sluggish. Can't wait for Friday. I've got this urge to pack my stuff and leave. It's nauseating being here...
Getting sick of work but then again who else is not feeling that way? Anyway the clown has moved to another dept (orders from the mgt) and I'm not working with him anymore. So currently, I have an assistant manager and admin assistant working with me. I'll also be getting a temp girl in on Monday. As you can see, I'm building a small colony of people here...
And the funny thing is that I'm only an exec which is the joke of the century. You know what, though I've managed to get a higher increment (previously it was quite low) - courtesy of my good boss who sent a complaint to HR, but why am I so sick of work? There's no clown, higher pay but I still feel kinda of "empty"....no satisfaction...
I know it's ridiculous....but that's how I feel. I can't shake off this feeling...
I don't know why but I've always got to overcome so many barriers. I wonder why some people have such smooth sailing life. Like everything fits perfectly for them. It pisses me off. Especially those rich kids. They've got lots of cash, study in a good school and live such a perfect life. It just makes me mad. It's like picture perfect, if you get what I mean. At the end of the day, money makes the world go round....
By the way, I just got my pay increment. It's miserable. It doesn't justify what I've done so far. One word - Pathetic. I just wanna throw the letter back at HR and say - keep the money and "use it to clean your backside". I don't need it....
If my performance bonus in March is low, I'll just give up and not work. Absolutely not give my 100%. What's the use of giving my all when there's no payback at all? It's just horrible. Don't just say you appreciate me, I want the rewards, the moolah...Pissed about everything. My life, the world...
Feeling rather blue today. I'm not so sure why. I don't think it was the meeting I attended. Just feeling a little down. Even after my lunch, I'm still feeling the same. Not really in the mood to work and it's not because of the workload. I just feel like jetting off somewhere, out of Singapore.
Even though I complain, I know that I'm pretty privileged to be a Singaporean. I mean there are people out there fighting for their life for crying out loud. So the question is - why do Singaporeans complain about everything when we should be happy with what we have? Take a look at the forum page in the Straits Times and I bet that you would be shaking your head too. I mean we complain about simple matters like bad customer service etc. It's just plain ridiculous if you are looking from a neutral standpoint. That's how free Singaporeans can be. You know, maybe we are just taking things for granted...don't you agree?
