The good times are gone. This financial crisis is really bad. I mean even though I'm not feeling it yet but I know it's a matter of time that S'pore will be hit badly.Stocks are plunging. Remember I mentioned that Europe will be hit next and it's true (http://sg.news.yahoo.com/ap/20081007/tbs-wall-street-f8250da.html).
And this comes to my next question? Do you think that the US bailout helped? Personally, I feel that it's too late. The damage has been done. If you're wondering, wahhh..how come I'm suddenly analysing all these stuff, it's cos' I was reading Time Asia just now. Really interesting article on what caused all this mayhem.
Also, I think that the next US president will need to do alot of damage control. Looking at the 2 US candidates, I'm not sure if they are competent enough. I feel that Obama is riding on the fact that everyone hates the Republicans and I don't like it that he has celebrities to advocate for him. It's like he's popular because of all this fanfare. Can he deliver is another thing. While McCain is a Bush clone, enough said.
I would have loved Hilary Clinton to be president though....US needs a woman president...hehe...
Ok lah....enough of all this boring stuff...need to start work soon...
