Was talking with my colleague earlier about the JI terrorist who escaped from the detention center. Anyway what were puzzling to us were the circumstances in which he escaped. Singapore has such good security facilities, how the hell did he escape without arousing the guards' attention? It's just weird...There are so many questions to be asked? Firstly, how could he escape with that limp? I just can't imagine..what was he using? Pliers to cut the fence (I'm being sarcastic here)? This is Singapore, for god's sake..we are the world's most kiasu country and we can let a terrorist escape? They should have placed him under watch like 24/7!!! What's with the lax security?? Secondly, aren’t there like cameras in the detention center? Why was there no one that caught him escaping?
If you're clever enough, I think you should know where I'm getting at. I don't want to spell in out but I'm thinking that _____ . The report (whatever u call that) is not specific enough & what's with the 4 hours lapse. It's crazy man....
