I'm paying homage to my dad who loves songs sung by Ella Fitzgerald. He has a huge collection of her albums. For those who are not aware of her, she's considered one of the most influential female jazz vocalists.Here's a short biography of her -

You might be surprised but I prefer classic jazz singers like Ella Fitzgerald than contemporary ones like Diana Krall (influence from dad ^_^). There's more emotion in their performance and it reminds me of the swing era.
